The whale that lost 12 million dollars by buying high and selling low has entered the market again: increasing its holdings by 2,165 ETH at an average price of 2,463 dollars

2026-08-26 16:34:01

According to monitoring by lookonchain, the trader 0xD81a, who previously incurred a cumulative loss of about 12 million dollars by buying high and selling low on ETH, has re-entered the market after nearly 6 months of silence, spending approximately 5.33 million dollars to buy 2,165 ETH, with an average purchase price of about 2,463 dollars.

It is worth noting that in the trader's last transaction, they sold ETH at an average price of about 2,452 dollars, but now they are buying back at a higher price, resulting in a "sell low, buy high" operation.
