Avalanche Treasury Company reported a net loss of 44.7 million USD in Q2, of which 35.7 million USD was related to AVAX holdings

According to businesswire, Nasdaq-listed Avalanche Treasury Company (AVAT) disclosed that as of June 30, it held approximately 15.3 million AVAX, with a book value of about 100 million dollars; the net staking income for the second quarter was 1.5 million dollars, totaling 3.6 million dollars for the first half of the year.

The company reported a net loss of 44.7 million dollars in the second quarter, of which approximately 35.7 million dollars came from the fair value changes, realized losses, and impairments of its AVAX holdings, while about 15.2 million dollars were one-time transaction costs incurred from completing the business combination. The company's board also approved a Class A common stock repurchase plan of up to 10 million dollars.
