Salesforce's stock price rose 12% in after-hours trading on the U.S. stock market, as its reported performance and guidance exceeded Wall Street expectations. The company's second-quarter revenue was $11.35 billion, with a net profit of $3.53 billion, an 87% year-over-year increase. It gained $2.6 billion from its investment in Anthropic.
For the third fiscal quarter, adjusted earnings per share are expected to be between $3.42 and $3.44, with revenue between $11.42 billion and $11.5 billion. The full-year earnings per share are expected to be between $16.67 and $16.71, with revenue between $46.1 billion and $46.4 billion.
