tZERO has reached an agreement with ICE to act as a design partner supporting the NYSE's tokenization platform
tZERO has reached a series of agreements with the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) to help build the next generation of public securities market infrastructure. According to the new memorandum of understanding, tZERO will serve as the primary design partner for digital transfer agent and broker-dealer infrastructure, aimed at supporting ICE's upcoming on-chain settlement on the NYSE-associated tokenized securities platform.
ICE has agreed to participate in tZERO's latest financing round. As part of the agreement, ICE will license tZERO's blockchain patent portfolio for the platform and other potential applications. Both parties will also explore the use of tZERO tokenized assets for collateral management at ICE's clearinghouse and affiliated institutions.
