Gate launches USD order book, sharing spot depth across multiple USD currencies
Gate officially launches the USD order book, incorporating USD, USDC, USD1, RLUSD, and other dollar-denominated currencies into the same spot market, sharing order depth and centralizing liquidity. Users can access this feature by upgrading the Gate App to version 8.35 or above, or by accessing it through the web.
Taking BTC/USD as an example, users can place orders in USD, USDC, USD1, or RLUSD based on their account holdings. Orders in different currencies will all enter the BTC/USD market for matching, with prices and depth displayed uniformly in USD. Even if buyers and sellers use different currencies, the system can automatically handle conversions, deductions, and settlements without the need for prior manual exchanges. Currently, this feature only supports spot trading, and the specific supported currencies may vary by region, account, or trading pair, with potential expansion to more stablecoins pegged 1:1 to USD in the future.
