Zhao Changpeng: YZi Labs' investments in recent months may become its best-performing trades

According to Be In Crypto, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng recently stated that YZi Labs' investments over the past few months will become the highest return layout, as they invested in cryptocurrency prices close to the lows of the bear market.

YZi Labs has disclosed seven investments in 2026: in January, they invested in the on-chain trading terminal Genius and the digital asset custodian BitGo; in March, they led a $52 million investment in RoboForce and invested $1 million in the venture project Atlas Scout; in April, they made an additional investment in the prediction market Predict.fun; in May, they led an $8 million seed round investment in the AI agent payment settlement layer AEON; in August, they invested in the cross-chain fixed-rate lending platform TermMax.

Zhao Changpeng believes that the influx of funds into AI is eliminating short-term cryptocurrency teams, and the return of AI funds to digital assets has already begun. Bitcoin has rebounded after a 47% drop from its peak, but it is still far below the October high.
