Alliance Lianchuang: Public chains will no longer be important to most users

2026-09-07 09:50:42

Co-founder of Alliance, Imran Khan, tweeted that for most people, the public chain itself will become secondary; the key is the products that serve end users at the upper layer. Launch platforms are being commoditized, and platforms with the deepest network effects or those that occupy niches through differentiation (such as stock trading pairs) are more likely to succeed.

The on-chain front end is weakening the stickiness of single venues and community identity, as it can connect various venues through the same window, reducing switching costs; this is also true for lending, exchange routing, cross-chain bridges, and most trading infrastructure, where stickiness will shift to the party that controls user relationships.
