A U.S. court has ordered the seizure of approximately $210,000 in stablecoins related to North Korean IT labor

According to the Korea Herald, a federal court in Washington, D.C. has ordered the seizure of a wallet asset involved in money laundering by North Korean overseas IT workers, including 158,123 USDC and 54,574 USDT, with a total value of approximately $212,700. The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking to confiscate a total of $7.74 million in North Korea-related cryptocurrency assets.
