OPEC's oil production in August decreased by 640,000 barrels per day
A Reuters survey shows that Saudi exports have been disrupted due to the Iran war, and U.S. sanctions have reduced Iranian shipments. OPEC's crude oil production in August decreased by 640,000 barrels per day to 19.71 million barrels per day.
Although seven member countries agreed to increase production, the conflict in the Middle East has hindered the implementation of the plan.
