U.S. Treasury yields reached a multi-year high during the Asian trading session
U.S. Treasury yields rose during the Asian trading session, with yields across all maturities reaching multi-year highs. The 2-year U.S. Treasury yield reached 4.596%, the 10-year rose to 4.979%, and the 30-year hit 5.384%. Danske Bank stated that the 10-year yield is just a few basis points away from the 5% mark, due to U.S. Treasury buyback operations falling short of expectations.
