Survey: U.S. Treasury yields reaching 5% may trigger a 10% correction in U.S. stocks
The latest Markets Pulse survey shows that if the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield reaches 5% to 5.25%, it could lead to a 10% drop in U.S. stocks from their peak. Among 122 respondents, about 30% believe this yield level is sufficient to trigger a correction. The current yield has risen above 4.96%, reaching a three-year high. The Chief Economist at RSM stated that the market is on the brink of a correction.
