The Solana mainnet will stop maintaining the verification client Frankendancer after the activation of Alpenglow in October

According to SolanaFloor, Jump Crypto's Firedancer team will stop supporting the Solana transitional validator client Frankendancer after Alpenglow is activated on the Solana mainnet, with the upgrade expected to go live in October with v4.3.

The team stated that the decision was made due to the maintenance and security burden, and they will subsequently focus resources on the complete Firedancer client.
