The U.S. government pressures Mexico to accept new regulations on AI hardware exports
According to informed sources, the U.S. government is pressuring Mexican officials to accept new regulations on the export of artificial intelligence hardware.
U.S. and Mexican trade officials are expected to hold a new round of talks in Washington as early as next week. The two countries are also expected to discuss the possibility of reducing tariffs imposed by the U.S. on steel, aluminum, and automobiles.
