This hackathon has set up five rounds of competition, testing the strategy execution, risk management, and continuous trading ability of AI Agents and human traders in a continuous real market trading environment, based on PnL%.

WEEX Hackathon Season Two------"AI Wars II: The Algorithm Era" is currently in full swing, and the competition has entered the second round.

After the first round of real market trading battles, the human camp secured victory in the first round with a significant advantage in return rates. As we enter the second round, although the top ten personal return rates are still all occupied by human players, the overall average return rate of the AI camp has surpassed that of the human camp.

As of September 16, 12:00 (UTC+8), the average return rate of the AI team is approximately 6.8 percentage points ahead of the human team. Meanwhile, due to recent macroeconomic conditions and fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market, the average return rates of both the AI and human camps are currently in negative territory. As the competition continues, the scores of both sides will keep changing, and it remains uncertain who will ultimately prevail.

This hackathon consists of five rounds of competition, testing the strategy execution, risk management, and sustained trading capabilities of AI agents and human traders in a continuous real market trading environment based on PnL%. As the competition enters the second round, the competition between AI and humans is beginning to show more subtle changes than in the first round.

Round One: Humans Defeat AI, Champion Trader's Return Rate Reaches 561.25%

AI Wars II consists of five rounds of competition, running from September 7 to October 9, with one round held each week from Monday to Friday.

WEEX Hackathon is in full swing: In the second round of the competition, AI surpasses humans. Who will take home the 15,000 USDT?

Participants can choose to join Team AI or Team Human, competing in the real market through AI agents, API automated trading, or manual trading, vying for rankings and corresponding rewards based on PnL% performance. The AI team also has a special reward of $30,000 for elite performance.

The first round of competition was held from September 7 to 11. In this round, the human team defeated the AI team with a lead of about 7 percentage points in PnL%, achieving a strong start.

From the personal return rate leaderboard, human traders demonstrated stronger explosive potential. The top 5 users of the human team achieved return rates of 561.25%, 348.07%, 343.54%, 330.88%, and 245.88%, while the top 5 return rates of the AI team were 22.97%, 8.9%, 8.89%, 7.89%, and 7%.

From this result, the first round of competition showed a clear difference: a few outstanding human traders achieved returns far exceeding those of AI competitors, helping the human team establish an advantage in the first round.

However, this does not mean that AI trading strategies lack competitiveness. Short-term trading results are easily influenced by various factors such as real market conditions, strategy types, position management, and trading frequency, and a single round's performance is not enough to represent long-term trading capabilities. WEEX set the event as a continuous five rounds to observe the stability of AI and human trading strategies under different market conditions over a longer competition period.

70% of the Prize Pool Belongs to the Human Camp, First Place Takes Home 630 USDT

The main prize pool for the first round was 10,000 USDT.

According to the competition rules, the winning team receives 70% of the prize pool for this round, which is 7,000 USDT; the losing team still receives 30% of the prize pool, which is 3,000 USDT. Within each camp, the top five players in PnL% can share 25% of their camp's prize pool, with the 1st to 5th places corresponding to 9%, 5.5%, 4.5%, 3.25%, and 2.75% of their camp's prize pool.

Based on the 7,000 USDT prize pool for the human team in the first round, the corresponding base ranking rewards for the top five players in the human camp are: 630 USDT, 385 USDT, 315 USDT, 227.5 USDT, and 192.5 USDT. After the AI team receives the 3,000 USDT prize pool, the base rewards for the top five players are: 270 USDT, 165 USDT, 135 USDT, 97.5 USDT, and 82.5 USDT.

In the remaining portion of the camp prize pool, 15% is distributed among users with positive returns based on PnL%, and 60% is a participation reward, "shared by those who see it." Therefore, the final rewards do not solely depend on PnL% rankings; continuous participation, achieving positive returns, and completing event tasks will all affect the actual rewards received.

Round Two: AI Counterattacks, Temporarily Leading Humans by 6.8 Percentage Points

On September 14, AI Wars II officially began the second round of competition. As of September 16, 12:00 (UTC+8), the personal return rate leaderboard is still dominated by human players, with all top 10 spots coming from Team Human.

Among them, the top 5 players of the human team have return rates of 828.87%, 693.58%, 302.44%, 246.2%, and 239.92%; while the top 5 return rates of the AI team are only 85.29%, 37.12%, 23.84%, 21.89%, and 6.21%.

Looking solely at the personal leaderboard, human players still lead significantly. However, from the overall average return rate of the teams, the situation has reversed; as of the aforementioned time, the AI team's average return rate has surpassed that of the human team by about 6.8 percentage points. This means that although high-return players are concentrated in the human camp, the overall performance of AI players is more balanced, with smaller differences in return rates among team members, resulting in the AI camp taking the lead when calculating the overall average.

This contrast is particularly meaningful for AI traders: real traders can achieve extremely high returns in the short term through unique judgments, exclusive strategies, or high-risk positions, but there is also significant differentiation in return rates among individual players; AI agents emphasize automated execution, rule-based decision-making, and strategy consistency, and their overall return performance does not rely on a few top players.

Of course, the second round of competition is not over yet, and whether the AI team can maintain its lead to win this round will still depend on the trading performance over the next three days.

From $10,000 to $30,000, the Prize Pool Increases Round by Round

The main prize pool for the first round was 10,000 USDT, and it has increased to 15,000 USDT for the second round. According to the competition schedule, the main prize pool will increase round by round, with the third, fourth, and fifth rounds having main prize pools of 20,000 USDT, 25,000 USDT, and 30,000 USDT respectively, totaling a main prize pool of 100,000 USDT across five rounds.

As the rounds progress, the number of participants continues to grow, and the prize pool for each round increases accordingly, with higher rewards in the latter half, further amplifying the competitive value.

The tiered prize pool design leaves room for all players to continue striving for rewards. For participants who have already taken part in the first two rounds, the subsequent rounds will still test the stability of their strategies and sustained trading capabilities; for users who have not yet participated, the next three rounds also hold significant value for participation, as latecomers have the opportunity to win more rewards.

Daily Check-in Voting, 0 Cost to Participate in Dividing 300,000 USDT

In addition to directly participating in the trading competition of Team AI or Team Human, users can also earn points through various means to participate in dividing a task prize pool worth a total of 300,000 USDT:

• Daily Check-in: Completing the check-in earns 20 points.

• Daily Likes: Liking supported players allows for a maximum of 3 likes per day, with each like earning 10 points.

• Share Activities: Sharing the WEEX Hackathon event on social media can earn 50 points.

• Daily Contract Trading: Achieving a daily contract trading volume of 5,000 USDT earns 50 points; the larger the trading volume, the more points rewarded.

• Contract Trading Milestone: Accumulating a contract trading volume of 50,000 USDT earns 100 points; the larger the cumulative trading volume, the more points rewarded.

Additionally, users can use the points earned to participate in event predictions, supporting their favored AI or human team. If the supported camp wins, they can earn more points as rewards.

The points accumulated by users can be exchanged for BTC, ETH, WXT, USDT bonuses, and VIP experience card rewards, with a total prize pool value of 300,000 USDT.

This is an important reward channel independent of the trading competition. For novice users, even without participating in any trading, simply through daily check-ins, likes, and shares, they can accumulate points and redeem rewards.
