IRF acquires Nomina and its intention to execute the SolverNet agreement

The research institution IRF, focused on building decentralized financial infrastructure for AI agents, announced the acquisition of Nomina. The scope of the acquisition includes technology, intellectual property, brand, and infrastructure, with the most significant being Nomina's intent execution protocol SolverNet. The infrastructure related to Nomina has processed over 7.5 million transactions to date.

SolverNet has gone live and has been validated in a production environment, covering the Ethereum mainnet and major Layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism, and has integrated with protocols like Symbiotic, Gearbox Protocol, and Cygnus Finance. The intent mechanism allows agents to declare expected outcomes, while the solver network competes to deliver, handling complexities such as routing, cross-chain, and gas management at the underlying level.

IRF will launch on-chain yield deployment, cross-chain and cross-currency fund transfers, as well as automated configuration and rebalancing strategies based on SolverNet, with each strategy expressed through a single intent and executed by the solver network. IRF plans to release related technologies in the coming months as part of the financial product roadmap for agents.
