Gate Idle Money Treasure adds support for USD1, with a maximum annualized return of 8.16%
According to the official announcement, Gate Idle Money has added support for USD1. Starting from September 23 at 14:00 (UTC+8), users holding USD1 in their trading account (spot account) or contract account can enable Idle Money with one click to automatically earn interest, with the current annualized yield at 6.8%. This USD1 Idle Money activity is jointly launched by Gate and World Liberty Financial (WLFI).
The 6.8% annualized yield includes 1.5% USD1 interest and 5.3% WLFI rewards, and the actual yield will be dynamically adjusted daily based on the reward budget and the platform's effective holding amount of USD1. Users with a contract trading volume of 150,000 USD1 or more in the past 30 days can enjoy a maximum of 1.2 times annualized yield enhancement on a holding of up to 500,000 USD1, with the enhanced annualized yield reaching up to 8.16%. The earnings are calculated using a daily snapshot mechanism and will be automatically credited to the spot account on T+1.
Currently, Idle Money supports various stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, and USD1. Once enabled, users do not need to subscribe, exchange, or lock up their funds; eligible stablecoin balances will automatically participate in the earnings calculation, while the funds can still be used for trading. The earnings from Idle Money mainly come from underlying assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds, money market funds, on-chain staking, and RWA. In addition, the interest-earning feature for holding USD1 will end soon, and the specific end date will be announced separately.
