Global sovereign bond yields approach 4%, with rising interest rate expectations
Patrick Munnelly of Tickmill Group stated that investors have raised their expectations for central bank interest rate hikes in the coming months, pushing the average yield on global government bonds to nearly 4%.
LSEG data shows that investors expect the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, Bank of Japan, and Bank of England to each raise interest rates three times or more within the next year.
