Data: The privacy coin sector's market value increased by 24.54 billion USD over 5 months, with ZEC and XMR leading the growth

According to Bitcoin.com, the market capitalization of the privacy coin sector has increased from $11.97 billion to $36.51 billion over the past five months, an increase of $24.54 billion, or approximately 205%. Among them, Zcash (ZEC) saw an increase of $20.27 billion, while Monero (XMR) increased by $4.33 billion.

In January, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) concluded its investigation into the Zcash Foundation without recommending any enforcement action. On August 25, digital asset management company Grayscale converted the Zcash Trust into the ZCSH spot ETF and listed it on NYSE Arca, becoming the first publicly listed privacy coin spot ETF in the United States. On September 8, Digital Currency Group (DCG) exchanged ZEC for approximately $100 million in ZCSH ETF shares. During the same period, the price of ZEC rose from $319 to $1,507, while XMR increased from $330 to $555.
