Solana co-founder: The industry is not ready to welcome Alpenglow
Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko stated that the industry is "not ready" for the next major upgrade of the chain, Alpenglow.
Previously, Anza engineers had migrated the Solana developer network to the Alpenglow consensus protocol, which will change the way blocks are processed, aiming to reduce the transaction finality time from about 12.8 seconds to 100 to 150 milliseconds.
