TSMC's invested company VIS's Singapore wafer factory is at full capacity
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has fully started production at its first wafer fab in Singapore, driven by demand for AI infrastructure.
The factory is a joint venture with NXP and began trial production in June, achieving a yield rate of 99%. Mass production is planned for early 2027. TSMC holds approximately 19% of the shares.
