The three major U.S. stock indices opened lower, Nvidia rose 2.3%

According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones down 0.64%, the S&P 500 index down 0.43%, and the Nasdaq down 0.47%. Nvidia (NVDA.O) rose 2.3% after the company announced an increase in its stock buyback authorization by $150 billion.

Meta Platforms (META.O) fell 0.9%, having previously gained nearly 13% over the past week. SpaceX (SPCX.O) was close to flat as its Starship entered orbit for the first time.
