The China Meteorological Administration predicts that a super El Niño event will form

According to the monitoring by the National Climate Center of the China Meteorological Administration, since September, the sea temperature in the equatorial central eastern Pacific has continued to rise, with the sea temperature index breaking 3°C for the first time.

It is expected that around November, the peak of the sea temperature index will reach 3.2°C to 3.5°C, forming the strongest super El Niño event on record.
