Macron will preside over the G7 meeting to discuss energy market measures

French President Macron will host a video call with G7 leaders this Friday to discuss measures to address the global crude oil and refined oil markets. Macron has spoken on the phone with U.S. President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, and has requested EU partners to release additional diesel stocks in response to U.S. supply demands.
