CFTC: S&P 500 net short positions increased to 355,697 contracts
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reported that for the week ending September 29, stock fund speculators increased their net short positions in the S&P 500 CME by 575 contracts, bringing the total to 355,697 contracts; stock fund managers reduced their net long positions in the S&P 500 CME by 33,658 contracts, bringing the total to 901,255 contracts.
