Metaplanet: Net purchase of 1,000 BTC in Q3, total holdings reach 44,000 coins

The Japanese listed company Metaplanet announced that it net purchased 1,000 BTC in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026. As of September 30, 2026, its total Bitcoin holdings reached 44,000 BTC.

In addition, the company implemented the sale and repurchase of Bitcoin during this quarter, aiming to verify its ability to monetize its Bitcoin holdings. Specifically, the group sold 10,000 BTC during this period while purchasing 11,000 BTC, resulting in a net increase of 1,000 BTC in Bitcoin holdings.
