The Polygon protocol destroyed 100 million POL two weeks ago, and 22 million POL are ready to enter the next phase of destruction
According to monitoring by Sandeep Nailwal, the Polygon protocol destroyed 100 million POL two weeks ago, accounting for about 1% of the total token supply, with funds sourced from network-generated transaction fees. Currently, another 22 million POL are prepared to enter the next phase of destruction, accounting for about 0.2% of the total supply.
Polygon has not fully disclosed the impact of OMS on POL, and relevant information will be announced soon. Last week, the annualized transaction volume processed by OMS exceeded 1 billion dollars for the second consecutive week.
