According to reports, Apple will launch Apple Intelligence in China in December

According to a report by Bloomberg cited by Phoenix Technology, Apple is preparing to launch its AI platform, Apple Intelligence, in mainland China. Insiders say that Apple plans to roll out this feature in December through the upcoming iOS 27.3 update, covering capabilities related to iPhone, iPad, and Mac that were first launched in the United States two years ago.

Insiders indicate that this launch does not include the new Siri AI assistant or other features announced this year. In July, Apple received preliminary approval to launch Apple Intelligence in China and has recently engaged in further discussions with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to seek permission for a formal consumer launch of the service.

According to previous reports, the AI platform launched by Apple in China employs a security protection mechanism co-developed with Alibaba and collaborates with Baidu to develop search and Siri-related features. As of the time of publication, an Apple spokesperson declined to comment.
