Founder of Social Graph Ventures Jakub Rusiecki joins Colosseum as Principal

Social Graph Ventures founder Jakub Rusiecki posted on X that he has joined Colosseum as Principal. He stated that he first met Clay Robbins in January 2024, during the launch of Colosseum and the upcoming fundraising for its first fund.

Rusiecki mentioned that he has been following Clay Robbins, Matty Tay, and Nate Levine from the beginning and has continuously observed the team's transformation of the Solana hackathon into a company incubation pipeline. Over the past year, both parties have frequently favored the same batch of early projects and have aligned in their early investment judgments.

Rusiecki also noted that the majority of current crypto venture capital is flowing into later rounds, while the next batch of companies often starts with two-person teams and hackathon projects, typically earlier than the investment timing of traditional funds. Colosseum attracts developers through hackathons, supports founders from the idea stage with accelerators, and continuously backs breakthrough projects and other companies within the accelerator with its fund. He will review hackathon submissions and plans to attend the London Breakpoint.
