Putin ordered the takeover of assets of several European companies in Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree placing the assets of several companies from France, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands under temporary management in Russia, including the French flooring manufacturer Tarkett and the German packaging manufacturer Menshen.
This move is a response to the European Union's support for Ukraine, and the Kremlin stated that the measures are reversible.
