Tencent's internal testing of the children's AI interactive product "Dongle Duck"
According to "Du Jia," Tencent is conducting internal testing of an AI interactive content product for children and teenagers called "Dongle Duck," which includes a web version and a WeChat mini-program. The product is currently open for limited testing to parent-child users and teachers, using interactive content "Wonder Cards" as the main medium, allowing parents, teachers, and knowledge creators to use AI to create draggable, simulated, and operable interactive works from knowledge, experience, and creativity.
Dongle Duck comes with a content community, accumulating ready-made Wonder Card materials that cover knowledge in various fields such as common life knowledge, art, humanities, and natural sciences. The formats include 3D models, games, picture books, and dynamic courseware. Parent-child scenarios can choose interactive bedtime picture books, rocket launch processes, electronic piano strings, motorcycle structures, and more for simulation; classroom scenarios can visualize physical concepts like friction and levers, and include built-in word puzzles and mini-games; extracurricular content includes miniature courtyard light and shadow simulations of museums, hydrological observation station transitions between dry and wet seasons, previews of pottery shapes and glaze colors, as well as models of electric fields, pulley systems, and the Pythagorean theorem.
Parents, teachers, and knowledge creators can input ideas and use the built-in Agent to create picture books, games, dynamic courseware, 3D content, and memory cards. The platform features an inspiration wall and also supports adaptations of existing community works. "Du Jia" states that after entering the command to generate a game of Gomoku in the chat box, the AI will generate a mini-game in the right sidebar, supporting downloads, publishing to the community, or sharing with WeChat and QQ friends; the product also supports uploading recordings and direct dialogue input, turning existing materials into interactive knowledge.
