Arcus adds stock tokens and WETH as collateral for perpetual contracts

Arcus is a decentralized exchange built by the dYdX team in collaboration with Robinhood Crypto on the Robinhood Chain, offering tokenized stocks and perpetual contract trading. The platform announced the expansion of its multi-asset collateral feature, adding stock tokens and WETH as collateral for perpetual contracts, allowing users to provide margin for leveraged positions without selling their spot holdings.

Previously, Arcus launched a multi-asset collateral feature that allows eligible stock tokens to secure perpetual contract positions through USDG loans, with the first supported collateral including SPY, QQQ, and MAG7 stock tokens, and an initial loan-to-value ratio of 50%. The addition of WETH further expands the range of available collateral assets.

Arcus stated that since its launch on the Robinhood Chain, the cumulative trading volume has exceeded $2 billion, with an average daily trading volume of over $100 million, and more than 85,000 users on the waiting list for perpetual contracts. The platform currently offers around 200 tokenized stock markets, with perpetual contracts supporting up to 50x leverage, and is not open to users from restricted regions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
