Privacy Sector: Multiple Assets on the Rise

DUSK, NYM, AZTEC, and XMR all entered the list of top gainers, each addressing privacy issues from different angles, covering various aspects from payments and financial applications to network communications.

DUSK: Last week's increase was 34%. Dusk is a privacy public chain aimed at regulated financial scenarios, utilizing zero-knowledge proofs to protect transaction information while meeting compliance audit requirements, primarily serving the issuance and trading of real-world assets such as tokenized securities.

NYM: Last week's increase was 12%. Nym builds network-layer privacy, with its mixnet encrypting user traffic in multiple layers and scrambling forwarding paths, making it impossible for outsiders to analyze communication metadata. The NymVPN based on this network has been launched for users, with subscription fees converted into NYM, separating payment records from usage behavior.

AZTEC: Last week's increase was 10%. Aztec is a privacy layer two network on Ethereum, providing programmable privacy for smart contracts, allowing account balances, transfers, and contract interactions to remain private off-chain, with final settlement completed on Ethereum.

XMR: Last week's increase was 8%. Monero is a payment asset with default privacy, hiding the sender, receiver, and amount of each transaction through ring signatures, stealth addresses, and confidential transaction technology. The community is currently promoting the FCMP++ upgrade aimed at expanding the anonymous set.

Payment Sector: AVA and AMP Rise Together

AVA: Last week's increase was 51%. AVA is the ecosystem token of the crypto travel booking platform Travala, allowing holders to receive booking discounts and rewards through the AVA Smart membership program. According to official disclosures in early October, the program has over 170,000 members, with locked AVA accounting for about 16% of the circulating supply. Starting November 1, the lock-up requirements for new members at all levels will double. Since September, Travala has also been matching the AVA Foundation's buyback on the open market monthly, with purchased tokens deposited into a strategic reserve that is committed to never being sold.

AMP: Last week's increase was 16%. AMP is the collateral token of the payment network Flexa, with staked AMP providing guarantees for crypto payments, allowing merchants to complete transactions before on-chain confirmation.

DeFi: PUFFER Leads the Charge, BTW Hits All-Time High

PUFFER: Last week's increase was 68%. Puffer Finance started with re-staking liquidity from Ethereum and is currently building a Rollup network called UniFi based on Ethereum ordering. In late September, Google Cloud joined as a gateway operator for Puffer Preconf, providing sub-second pre-confirmation for transactions on UniFi based on re-staked ETH.

BTW: Last week's increase was 38%. Bitway is an on-chain yield and financial platform for Bitcoin holders, with its Bitcoin-compatible public chain Bitway Ledger built on the Cosmos SDK, planning features such as native BTC lending. BTW reached an all-time high on October 14.

OSMO: Last week's increase was 17%. Osmosis is the main decentralized exchange in the Cosmos ecosystem, providing exchange and liquidity services for assets across various chains in Cosmos based on the inter-blockchain communication protocol IBC.

RSR: Last week's increase was 12%. RSR is the governance token of the Reserve protocol, allowing holders to stake RSR to provide over-collateralization for asset-backed tokens issued by the protocol and participate in governance voting on related parameters.

Continued Rotation into Small and Mid-Cap Assets, Focus on Privacy and Payment Directions

Last week, mainstream assets performed flat under the pressure of macro data, with funds shifting towards small and mid-cap assets, and several projects in the privacy and payment directions entering the list of top gainers. These projects are at different stages of development and price drivers, with volatility significantly higher than mainstream assets. Participants need to have a clear understanding of the project's fundamentals and their own risk tolerance before getting involved.

Huobi HTX will continue to follow the development dynamics of various sectors, providing users with timely asset information, and will continue to offer stable and reliable trading services under the premise of safety and compliance.
