Osmosis terminates OSMO issuance, staking rewards shift to protocol revenue
The decentralized exchange Osmosis based on Cosmos has terminated the issuance of OSMO tokens and shifted the source of staking rewards from newly issued tokens to protocol revenue.
This adjustment eliminates approximately two percentage points of the staking annual yield supported by the issuance, while freezing about 51.9 million previously minted developer tokens.
