Gate continuously upgrades its gold CFD trading system, launching a 7×23 hour and weekend trading mechanism across the entire network

According to the official announcement, Gate has launched the gold CFD (XAUUSD) 7×23 hour trading feature for the first time across the network, which is currently open for internal testing to some users. This upgrade extends the trading hours for gold CFD to the weekend, allowing eligible users to continue participating in gold contract trading during traditional market closures, and to perform opening and closing operations, position adjustments, and order management based on market changes, expanding the cross-week trading scenarios for gold derivatives.

In terms of specific rules, the daily trading hours for XAUUSD are from 06:00 to 05:00 the next day (UTC+8), with a daily market closure of 1 hour; during the weekend trading hours, new positions can use up to 50 times leverage. Users can check the specific trading times through the Web or App version 8.41.5 and above, with actual permissions displayed on the account page.

Previously, Gate was the first in the industry to launch a multi-leverage trading system for gold CFD, offering leverage options ranging from 5x to 1000x. This further extension of trading hours allows the platform's gold CFD products to expand from leverage configuration to trading time mechanisms, providing more choices for different trading strategies and position management needs.
