According to Gate market data, the S&P 500 index opened on October 29 down 29.97 points, a decrease of 0.39%, at 7,714.01 points; the Nasdaq Composite index fell 357.22 points, a decrease of 1.35%, at 26,192.63 points; the Dow Jones index dropped 228.86 points, a decrease of 0.44%, at 52,246.24 points.
