The statement indicated that one of its third-party service providers was compromised, and the relevant situation has been handed over to law enforcement.

Polymarket stated that the losses of affected users will be compensated. As a precaution, the platform has temporarily halted trading and is working to restore the international site. The account later updated that the platform is being restored, and trading is expected to reopen around 3 PM Eastern Time.
