Arbitrum has transferred over 74.55 million ARB and 8,425 ETH related to the Binance attack into a frozen wallet

Arbitrum officials stated that the Arbitrum Security Committee has taken emergency action to transfer 74,559,805 ARB and 8,425 ETH held at addresses related to the Binance attack incident on Arbitrum One. After technical assessment and review, the Security Committee transferred the funds to an intermediate frozen wallet using a specific technical solution, which did not affect the status of other users and applications on the Arbitrum network.

As of October 30, 2026, the aforementioned funds have been successfully transferred and are no longer under the control of the original holding addresses. Subsequent actions can only be taken through further actions by the Arbitrum Security Committee or governance votes by the Arbitrum DAO, and relevant actions will be coordinated with all parties involved.
