The People's Bank of China, the Financial Regulatory Administration, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission held a seminar to support two tools for the capital market.
The meeting proposed that to maintain the stability of the capital market and enhance market resilience and confidence, the People's Bank of China, the Financial Regulatory Administration, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission will continue to strengthen policy support, further optimize policy elements and implementation details, and encourage financial institutions to effectively utilize policy tools.
Timely conduct swap facilitation operations among securities, fund, and insurance companies, further increase the number of participating institutions, appropriately lower swap rates, and optimize pledge and operational models.
The stock repurchase and increase in re-lending policy will shift from a phased arrangement to a long-term institutional arrangement, with the re-lending rate reduced from 1.25% to 1%; financial institutions will adhere to the principle of market-based pricing, reasonably add points based on the re-lending rate, and increase loan disbursement.
