State Street CEO: AI demand is real, hard to say it's a bubble
According to Bloomberg Technology, Ron O'Hanley, Chairman and CEO of State Street Corporation, stated that it is currently "difficult to see" that artificial intelligence has formed a bubble, as demand is supporting significant investments in the technology.
O'Hanley said in an interview with Bloomberg Television on Tuesday, "These data centers are not being built speculatively. What I mean is, there are real orders behind them, and in most cases, there are real companies behind them. So at this point, it's hard to say this is a bubble."
