The People's Bank of China and the Central Bank of Oman signed a memorandum of cooperation on digital currency

According to the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the People's Bank of China and the Central Bank of Oman signed a memorandum of cooperation on central bank digital currencies, and both parties will exchange expertise and experience on related technologies.

The two central banks also signed a currency swap agreement. The Governor of the Central Bank of Oman stated that the agreement aims to support economic development, strengthen financial stability, and enhance international partnerships. The relevant documents were signed on November 2 in the presence of the leaders of both countries.
