The Autobahn consensus proposal vote of Sei has reached the quorum

The voting for the SIP-6 proposal on the Sei network has reached the quorum requirement. This proposal involves an upgrade to the consensus mechanism named Autobahn. According to the proposal design, validators will be able to propose transactions simultaneously, rather than submitting proposals one by one.

Approval of the vote does not mean that the functionality will be immediately online. According to the proposal content, Sei must first complete the operational verification of the public testnet and pass a security audit before activating Autobahn. Both of these prerequisites must be completed prior to the official launch. The actual deployment depends on the performance of the testnet and the audit results.
