Apple prohibits employees from using confidential information to participate in market predictions

According to the insider trading policy document submitted by Apple, the company prohibits individuals bound by this policy from using confidential information obtained in the course of their work at Apple or other companies to bet, trade, or buy and sell event contracts on prediction markets or similar platforms.

The policy also prohibits disclosing relevant confidential information to individuals who may participate in such markets, regardless of whether the relevant actions constitute insider trading or securities trading under applicable law; the ban applies in all cases.
