Zhao Changpeng stated that over a thousand accounts posted 11,700 hostile messages, which were aimed at another attack on Binance
Binance founder Zhao Changpeng retweeted a lengthy statistical article regarding public opinion on Binance, stating that this is "another attack against Binance." The statistics cover approximately 78 hours from October 30 to November 2, during which 1,083 accounts posted 11,700 hostile messages about the Binance hacking incident, garnering approximately 20.93 million exposures, of which 3,354 were deemed false information.
The statistics show that the related narratives shifted with Binance's official response points, including "insider," "insolvency," and "afraid to withdraw." Among the 641 most active accounts, 452 had collaborative associations; 89% of the accounts rarely mentioned Binance, with posting frequency during the incident rising to 24.6 times the baseline. During Binance's withdrawal recovery phase, mobilization posts such as "immediate withdrawal" and "bank run" reached a peak of 11.2 posts per hour.
