Groq will conduct Series B financing at a valuation of 8 billion dollars

AI data center operator Groq, supported by Nvidia, has issued a Series B funding invitation, seeking to raise funds at a pre-money valuation of $8 billion. This financing indicates that Groq plans to more than double its valuation in about three months. Amid pressures in the AI infrastructure industry, data center operators like CoreWeave and Nebius have recently seen their stock prices sold off, raising market concerns about the sustainability of large-scale debt financing for building AI infrastructure.

At the end of last year, Nvidia attracted Groq founder and CEO Jonathan Ross and other key employees through a $20 billion technology licensing deal.
