ChainCatcher news, Pieverse announced the launch of the x402b protocol, aimed at helping BNB Chain create the first enterprise-level Web payment standard by extending the x402 protocol.Pieverse stated that the x402b protocol integrates the EIP-3009 gasless payment and auditable receipt system by introducing the Facilitator module, to comprehensively upgrade the payment experience on BNB Chain.To address the issue of mainstream stablecoins on BNB Chain not supporting EIP-3009, which prevents gasless payments, Pieverse launched pieUSD (1:1 USDT wrapped token) to enable gasless signature payments. Additionally, the Facilitator module can automatically generate compliant electronic receipts at settlement, which are stored on BNB Greenfield, providing on-chain traceable payment proof for auditing and tax standardization.Pieverse claims that the x402b protocol will give BNB Chain the first enterprise-oriented HTTP payment protocol. The complete protocol specifications, smart contracts, and reference implementations will be released at a later date.
