The Uwerx network was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately 174.78 ETH
ChainCatcher message, the Uwerx network has been attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately 174.78 Ethereum. According to SlowMist analysis, the fundamental reason for the attack is that when the receiving address is uniswapPoolAddress (0x01), an additional 1% of the token amount transferred from the address will be burned. Therefore, the attacker exploited the skim function of the uniswapv2 pool to consume a large amount of WERX tokens, then called the sync function to maliciously inflate the token price, and finally exchanged the remaining WERX for ETH to profit.According to MistTrack analysis, the hacker's initial funds came from 10 BNB transferred from Tornadocash, which was then exchanged for 1.3 ETH and cross-chained to Ethereum via Socket. Currently, the stolen funds are still held in the hacker address starting with 0x605.
