ChainCatcher message, Gnosis Chain posted on platform X stating that third-party applications need to take action, as the xDAI bridging contract is undergoing a critical upgrade: on Ethereum, DAI will be replaced by USDS as the default accepted token, while xDAI will continue to be minted on Gnosis Chain.Third-party applications must complete integration with the new Bridge Router contract on Ethereum by June 8, 2025.

Gnosis Chain users can mint GC sDAI using xDAI and accumulate DSR savings yields. Theoretically, the DSR yield on the Gnosis Chain is always higher than that on the Ethereum mainnet, as interest rate equilibrium can only be achieved when all xDAI is staked. (source link)
