Solv Protocol announced a strategic integration with Utexo, launching a native Bitcoin yield solution based on the RGB protocol and the Lightning Network, enabling the conversion between native BTC and USDT through atomic swaps without the need for wrapping, cross-chain bridges, or custodians. This solution emphasizes self-custody, privacy protection, and final settlement, and aligns with Tether's previously announced plan to natively issue USDT on the RGB-compatible Lightning Network. Additionally, it was disclosed that Solv participated as a strategic angel investor in Utexo's $7.5 million seed round financing led by Tether.

The Bitcoin privacy stablecoin project Utexo has launched an adaptation layer that provides RGB support for Tether's Wallet Development Kit.This feature aims to address the architectural mismatch caused by client validation and improve the interoperability of the wallet SDK.

Subsequently, it will coordinate with the launch of the CKB Lightning Network Fiber Network mainnet to provide liquidity airdrop incentives for CKB and RGB++ related assets. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is expected to be completed in Q1 2025, marking the first TGE in the Lightning Network ecosystem. It is reported that UTXO Stack had previously completed a seed round of financing, co-led by ABCDE Capital and SNZ Capital, with participation from CKB Eco Fund, OKX Ventures, UTXO Management, Waterdrip Capital, Matrixport, y2z Ventures, and DRK Lab.

ChainCatcher news, the CKB Eco Fund announced a strategic partnership with Element to fully support the RGB++ Layer on the Element platform. Both parties will work together to promote the development of the BTC ecosystem while injecting new momentum into the CKB digital asset DOB ecosystem. As a new asset issuance layer for Bitcoin, the RGB++ Layer extends isomorphic binding, smart contract capabilities, and bridge-less cross-chain functionality to all UTXO chains, and is expected to drive the rise of Bitcoin finance (BTCFi) and the Bitcoin ecosystem. Element's comprehensive support for the RGB++ Layer will enable developers and users to more easily create and manage various RGB++ assets on the CKB chain, promoting the development of the digital asset DOB ecosystem.

ChainCatcher news, the first decentralized exchange (DEX) based on RGB++ Layer, UTXOSwap.xyz, has officially launched on the mainnet. UTXOSwap utilizes bridge-less cross-chain and smart contract functionalities, aiming to release liquidity for all assets on UTXO chains.UTXOSwap adopts an off-chain matching and on-chain verification model, allowing users' intent orders to be directly matched with AMM liquidity pools. In the future, the platform will also introduce third-party liquidity providers.
