Jack Dorsey公布Block未来规划：以比特币为中心，不只是支付公司
链捕手消息，据 CNBC 报道，Jack Dorsey 在 Block（原 Square）五年来的第一个投资者日就Block的演变和比特币在其未来发展中的作用发表主题演讲。他表示，很难将Block这样的公司归入单一类别。“我们不再只是一家支付公司。自上次投资者日以来，情况发生了很大变化。”Block高管表示不再希望该公司被视为纯粹的支付业务，并表示这款理财应用及其加密货币和音乐流媒体业务应该被视为一个“生态系统”。
据悉，Block 一季度净营收同比增长 44%，Cash App 一季度比特币交易量达 17.3 亿美元，尽管比特币仍仅占 Block 毛利润的 5% 左右，但其高管仍认为加密投资是一种长期趋势，Block在其中处于有利地位。
