链捕手消息，阿根廷总统候选人 Javier Milei 因涉嫌推广加密庞氏骗局而被起诉。去年，Milei 在社交媒体上向 130 万粉丝宣传加密货币投资平台 CoinX，并承诺将给用户带来巨额回报。但阿根廷监管机构“国家证券委员会（CNV）”警告称， CoinX 没有在该国合法运营的权利，并命令其停止运营，CoinX 随后关闭相关业务。
据当地媒体报道，CoinX 没有向投资者支付预期的回报，部分听信 Milei 的追随者正在起诉他寻求赔偿。据悉，51 岁的自由主义经济学家 Milei 支持比特币，曾称中央银行为“骗局”，此后他与该平台保持距离，称他没有欺骗任何人，也没有为推广 CoinX 获得报酬。（Decrypt）
